Yesterday over 50 St. Paul parish, school, and Religious Education staff met at the beautiful Capuchin Retreat Center in Washington Michigan for a day of prayer and reflection as we begin this new school year. Sr. Mary Finn, hvm, a professor from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, was our retreat leader as we focused on the ministry of St. Paul as teacher and disciple. Our reflection focused on seeing the good in others, and seeing in others what they do not see in themselves. The weather was perfect, the setting unbelievably peaceful and serene, and I know that all of us are coming back to St. Paul renewed in spirit!
